Who can enter the competitions?
All writers and artists from Ohio aged 16+. Writers and artists of all genders are free to enter as we welcome the idea of everyone researching and finding out more about the achievements and contributions from women from our state.
Who counts as a writer or artist from Ohio?
To qualify as an Ohio writer, you must live in Ohio, have been educated in Ohio, or have lived in Ohio in the past for a substantial period of three years or more.
Does the woman from Ohio that I commemorate have to be famous?
No, you can also write about a friend or member of your family, as long as they are a woman from Ohio. We use the same criteria to determine connection to the state for the women written about as we do for the contributors.
